The Importance of Transparency and Honesty in Church Leadership

There are some sins that we know a lot about. We can tell you all about why it’s wrong to murder, worship idols, or commit adultery. It’s easy for Christians to look down on those kinds of sins because most Christians will never be guilty of committing them. What about the sins we do in secret? It’s true, every Christian struggles with some kind of hidden sin. What kinds of sins are they, and how do we combat them? Join Walker, Isaiah, and their guest Matt Wallin as they discuss: “Hidden Sins: The Importance of Transparency and Honesty in Church Leadership.”

House to House Heart to Heart, Rome, GA
I have worked with House to House Heart to Heart since January 2, 2006, where I have overseen production and promotions of the House to House magazine. I currently serve as the Director of Promotions.
I received a business degree and a Bible degree from Faulkner University and a Masters in Management from Troy University. After graduating from Faulkner I wasn't sure what I wanted to do, so I moved to China to live with a friend who was serving as a missionary. While I was there I fell in love with full-time ministry and decided that's what I wanted to do with my life. I found out about the opening with House to House while I was in China, interviewed over the phone, and flew back to start the work.
So far we have sent out 330 million copies of House to House in English, French, Korean, Portuguese, Spanish, several Indian dialects, and more. We have worked with 4500 churches in all 50 states and Washington DC, and 130 countries.
My wife Ashlei and I have three daughters. When we had kids we moved back to our home town of Rome, GA, where I currently serve as a deacon at the Oak Hill church of Christ. We run a fireworks business and flip houses. I love Jesus and the church more than all of that.
