Nkosilathi “Kosi” Mpofu was born and raised in Zimbabwe, Africa before he was blessed with an opportunity to study at Freed-Hardeman University in 2010. He graduated from FHU in 2014 with a Bachelor of Arts in Biblical Studies with a minor in Business Management. He went on to obtain a Master of Arts in Ministry from FHU in 2015. He is married to Katie Mpofu, also a Freed-Hardeman graduate, and together they have three daughters, Tiana, Sophia, and Kiara. Nkosi is passionate about ministry and missions. He and his wife founded Zimbabwe Missions, a missions organization operational in Zimbabwe, Nkosi’s home country, where they serve as full-time missionaries. You can learn more about this ministry at www.zimbabwemissions.org. Before moving to Zimbabwe, Nkosilathi had served as youth minister for congregations in both TN and CO.
